Heading to parks early with bagel and coffee in hand turned up several interesting encounters this year. Another one occurred in Central Park in early October when I met Hannah. She lives in LA but had been visiting and was considering extending her ticket to stay longer. She asked me if she stayed would I be her friend and, if I remember correctly, my response was that I thought we already were. I gave her my number before parting ways. The next morning I was in the park again with bagel and coffee when she text saying she had stayed. During her stay we met up in the park a number of times. In contrast to my personality Hannah is invariably spirited and I found it exceedingly refreshing. She holds some magic. I believe we’re still friends and this image is from when we met.
