Inspired by the volume of photo books some Japanese photographers have put out, my friend Junior, and my own desire to experiment with laying out images, I decided to start making zines in the late spring. I have often toyed with the idea but always got a bit hung up on issues with quality and curating. At some point it seemed important to let go of those concerns because I deemed it more important to produce something and learn than dwell. Luckily I’ve been shooting mostly black and white lately so it was cheaper to get copies run. I handed out a bunch and recently completed Issue 2 so I decided to put Issue 1 online. If you would like a hard copy by all means email me and we can work something out. The dimensions are 5.5 inches tall and 4.25 inches wide.
