Here are a few images from a project I started over a year ago where I make a photo of my surroundings and myself at 7:20 everyday. Some are meaningful and I like some others so although I hadn’t any intentions of doing anything with them I’ve decided to post a few. A number of people I am aware of have done something similar and there are probably more I’ve not seen. I am not aware of their reasons and I don’t care to discuss mine here but I might venture to guess there are many similarities.

A few notes could be added. I have been disinclined towards using flash as well as a penchant for long shutter speeds so many tend to have motion blur. This didn’t bother me before but now that I’m reviewing them I might try to correct it. If I’m with people I generally try to shoot them. They inevitably ask why 7:20 and I have two reasons. I wanted a time where I could see the season by daylight and I wanted a time when I might be less likely to be home. I chose the hour of 7:00 and set an alarm on my phone by flipping the minutes dial sort of wheel of fortune style. It stopped on 20 minutes.
